I first check OCO, then I place a limit to sell below a range....then try to put a limit to buy above the range for example, and it gives that error above.

OCO order error message
I thought I had done this before, but now I get an error message: "can't submit exit order to a strategy until it's entry order fills"
I first check OCO, then I place a limit to sell below a range....then try to put a limit to buy above the range for example, and it gives that error above.Tags: None

This indicates that you're trying to scale into an active ATM strategy before the entry order has filled.
By default, when you submit an entry order with an attached ATM strategy, the ATM strategy drop down list will change to the active strategy attached to your first order. Any orders submitted while an 'active' ATM is selected will be considered scale in/scale out orders for that ATM strategy.
The step you're missing is re-selecting the ATM template you want prior to submission of the second order. You steps should look like this:- Enable OCO mode
- Select your desired ATM strategy template
- Place your first order
- Re-select your desired ATM strategy template
- Place your second order
- Disable OCO mode
