Strategy not working.

Is this coded strategy supposed to work just in real time? It will not back test for me in Strategy Analyzer. Not sure if this is supported.

Thanks for your post.

The Strategy Analyzer settings in the thumbnail on the User App Share can be followed to test backtesting this strategy.

The Stocks and Commodities article provided the strategy for the purpose of a backtesting study, and it measures profit and loss taken from historical trades to tracks funds available that the strategy could use. Profit and loss from historical trades may prevent it from trading with realtime data.

However, there is no additional code is added to restrict it from making realtime trades.

I recommend reading the associated Stocks and Commodities article for a deeper understanding on how the strategy works.

Thanks for your reply.

The strategy uses 4 parameters of Position size, period, Money, and percent per trade. Most likely you will need to adjust those for the instrument you are backtesting.
