I use the Nisson Candlestick Scanner (NCS) to scan for certain candlestick patterns. On my live system it works as expected with few issues. I scan on various minute charts. My datafeed comes from Forex.com. Simply put, when a bar closes a scan is run to see if it matches any of the predefined candlestick patterns and I am sent an email alert if there is a match.
This weekend on a different computer I ran the exact same scan with the exact same configuration on the Russell 3000 on a daily chart instead of minute charts using Kinteck end of day data feed. From the image you can see it's not looking at the bar that just closed (you can also look at the date at the bottom of the chart) but the one before it which is obviously a problem. Any idea what is causing this behavior and what to do to fix it?
