Z-Order

Thanks for the note.

Can you clarify further on your issue with the Z axis? Do you have more than one object on the chart? Does the Z order appear when you select an object, hold shift and scroll?

That's the issue, by clicking on an object, it is NOT selected and holding the shift key + scrolling wheel only moves the chart. This happens all the time, regardless of opening a new chart and adding one object or many objects and regardless of restarting NT8.

Do black dots appear over the object you are selecting?

Please write a note to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com ATTN RyanS with your log and trace files attached.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files:
Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
