Sim101 buying power

Hey, I have been having trouble with the sim101 account's buying power. I tried reseting max cash value many times, but my buying power never resets. How do I increase buying power for the sim101 account?

Thanks for the inquiry.

Before clicking the 'reset' button to reset the Sim101 account, you can adjust all the values of the simulation account. Set these values to your desired amounts, and then reset the simulator. You would want to edit the 'initial cash' value most likely.

Thanks for the quick response, I have already tried changing all the edit account values to no avail. The other parameters change, but buying power still stays 0 no matter what I change in editing the account. Any ideas as to how to change the buying power parameter specifically?

Thanks for the reply.

The buying power is expected to display 0 as the sim account does not calculate this. Resetting the sim account clears the trade history and resets the cash balance. The cash balance is what is used for margin.

Are you receiving errors when trying to enter orders? If so, what do they report?
