Hi,

I try to run Ninjatrader 8, but get this message popping up (attachment). I have deinstalled an older version, downloaded the latest on your site and installed it, but with no success.

Can you help me please?

The error message you're receiving is essentially reporting that NinjaTrader is not allowed to access it's own files.

This can commonly occur if, for example, your virus protection or firewall program on your PC thinks NinjaTrader is malicious and then blocks it.

First, please check any virus protection, firewall, and backup software you may be running and add exceptions for NinjaTrader so that they do not interfere with NinjaTrader's operation.

Then, try adjusting the read/write protection for NinjaTrader 8's documents folder:

• Locate the NinjaTrader 8 folder in the (My) Documents directory--> right click on this folder and select "Properties".
• From the Folder properties, ensure that the Attributes have both "Read-only" and "Hidden" unchecked.
• When prompted to Confirm Attribute Changes, please make sure to select "apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files" and press OK.
