chart time axis labels

New to NT8 and want to sort out some key elements before getting too deep into using. I realize this may be some quirk from using my TDA account as NT8 data source, but please observe the time axis on the 2 charts (pic attached). The bars, for the most part, are identical, and the time of the NT8 chart are one bar late. So on a five minute chart, the bar starting at the Open is actually on the 9:35 line in NT8. Can anyone advise?

Here is the NT8 5 min TSLA chart - the bar at 9:35 is the opening bar and should start at 9:30, not 9:35

Yes, a 5 minute bar that closes at 9:35 would have opened at 9:30.

Oh no!-that's by design? have I missed the setting where I can change the time labels of the bar to when it opened?

There isn't an option to display the opening timestamp of a bar, but this is an idea we are tracking interest in with the feature request ticket ID SFT-3377. I have added a vote on your behalf.

We collect interest in feature requests before determining if the feature should be implemented. For that reason we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment.
