DDE Support.

If I have an indicator on a chart and it presents the Range, Initial Balance, etc for example. Is it possible to use DDE to get specified Indicator OR Chart data over to an Excel Spreadsheet?

Thank you for your post.

DDE wouldn't be something you could use to pick data from an indicator, but you could use the .dll from Excel to pass data and create workbooks etc. This would be undocumented, however. You might take a look at this publicly available Indicator from the User App Share that allows you to export some chart data to a spreadsheet:

Thanks Kate,

The only reason that I ask is tha I do use DDE to get data from my ThinkorSwim platform over to Excel. I'll look into your other suggestions though.
