Sim Engine Error

Hi,

I have data feed with index that has no bid or ask only close live data. Whenever I get an order from my automated strategies it rejects the order and disenables my strategy. I even set to limit order and still same problem.

Hello ericson,

Indexes are not instruments you can trade. You cannot place an order to an index instrument.

May I confirm you are placing an order to an equity, future, or forex instrument?

What is the instrument you are placing an order to? (For example ES 09-19, AAPL, $USDJPY)

What is the rejection message?

Does this include buy limit orders placed at a far distance from the current last price? For example a buy limit placed 20 ticks below the market price?

^SP500 for example. I understand, I'm using it for strategy calculation. I'll remove the order code or I'll add a tradable instrument.
