Add Indicator to Strategy

Hello,
How can I add one of the 'out of the box' indicators to a strategy?

e.g. the 'Three White Soldiers' candlestick pattern indicator.
I want to detect if this pattern is matched in the strategy and then execute a trade.

Thanks for your post.

The easiest way to do this or the easiest way to do this and see the syntax, is to use the strategy builder.

In the conditions builder, you would select the indicator from the indicators folder and select the pattern. When the pattern is found the indicator outputs a value of 1 so you would need to create the condition indicator == 1.

I would suggest having the strategy draw a dot on the chart to confirm that the strategy has found the pattern and once that looks good then have the strategy place orders.
