Chart's price marker shifts to historical bar close.

Hello,

I ran into a simple problem which seems impossible to solve.
All I wanted was the current tick price of a chart not to be changed
when I scroll back and analyze history of this same chart.
Instead this price marker changes live tick price to the close price of the first historical bar
on chart. Please help. This is basic issue, I cannot believe there is no simple solution for it.

There is no way to prevent the price marker itself from changing to the most recent bar within your view, however, you could use the 'Price line' indicator to always plot a horizontal line at the last traded price. Here is an example:

Every single platform on earth has this basic feature integrated INSIDE the platform.
I followed your post and now what? I have to register facebook to generate a licence key looool...
I don't have social networks, they are waste of time... You morons made the simplest. basic common feature
of the platform into the 3rd party licence key dependancy... I cannot believe at the level of your stupidity.
Ask yourself why would anyone want to buy your platform, if they cannot see the CURRENT PRICE scrolling
back the chart???

I am not sure what you're referring to. The 'Price line' indicator is built into NinjaTrader 8:

• Right-click on your chart > Indicators
• Find and select 'price line' from the 'Available' list > Choose 'add' > OK

The default settings of this indicator will produce a chart like the one in my screenshot example.
