Excel Export

Hello,

Is it possible to export to Excel all trades in the sim (or any account for that matter)? If so can we also customize the data period?

I'd like it to show Instrument, entry price, entry time, exit price, exit time and p/l. This would be for Forex.

Hello Segwin,

Thank you for your post. There is a way to export an Excel report such as you have described.

First, to create the report within NinjaTrader 8, please use the Trade Performance tool. From the Control Center, New>Trade Performance.

Here, you can select a date range in the top right hand corner and then click Generate, to run a report of all of the trade activity during that period. In the top left hand corner, you will find a drop-down menu of the various ways to view this data.
For your purposes, the Trades option would show all of the trade data you are requesting. Additionally, clicking the funnel icon just to the right of this drop down menu will give you advanced options for which Accounts, Instruments, and Templates to include in the report.

Next, to export this information to Excel, navigate to the "Trades" option, and then right click within the window and select "Export."
