Get Instrument Commission in indicator code

OK, this is not the usual "How do I apply commissions" query.

I am trying to pull the commission as set by the account's commission template in my indicator for the instrument on the chart (don't ask why !!). Tried using AccountItem.Commission... but that does not return the right thing, and in any case is generic. I figure there must be a way to pull what is applied at the master instrument level...so eg where commission for ES may be different than commission for say LB or whatever.

Any pointers?

I'm not aware of any methods to pull the commissions from a template from code. An unsupported way would be reading the xml file and parsing the information to pull the commissions out. However, this would not specify which commission template is applied to a specific account.

But you can get the commission amount applied to an execution.
