Nesting indicators

How deep can you nest indicators and are there some posted examples on how to do it? When I say "nest" I mean feed the output from one indicator into another and take that output and feed it into another one yet.

Thanks for your post.

There is no set or imposed limit on the amount of nesting, however not all indicators will work with other indicators.

To use an input as the input to another input, in the indicator panel you can select the "input series" and from there can select either a "price type" or can select another indicator as the input. Please note that some indicators will not use other indicators as input even though you can select them as the input, this is because the indicators have been specifically created to only use the price series type of High or Low and in that case they ignore the input indicator value. To test this you would add the indicator as is to the chart, then add another instance of the same indicator but with a different "input series", if the plots are exactly the same then the "host" indicator only works with price, if different then the host indicator will work with other indicators as input.
