Issue importing /ES historical minute data (Ninjatrader 8)

I imported /ES futures historical data from 2000 to 2006 without any issues (Fyi - i manually created the instruments for each contract); however, when i try to import data for 1997 to 1998 for any /ES futures contracts i get an error.

This is a snippet of the error: ==>Unable to import file '\File\Path'. Instrument is not supported by repository.
As seen in the Control Center.

FYI - i checked the instruments definition for /ES and ensured that the appropriate contract months were defined. Specifically these are the contract months i am having issues with

ES 03-98
ES 03-99
ES 06-98
ES 06-99
ES 09-97
ES 09-98
ES 09-99
ES 12-97
ES 12-98
ES 12-99

Also -You can see an attachment showing one of the instruments i configured using the "instruments tool".

Would appreciate any tip to solve this issue.

It is not possible to import historical data for contracts prior to the year 2000. This is a known limitation and there is an existing feature request (SFT-2502) that I will add your vote to.
