Watchlists

I am still on the fence about whether to buy Ninjatrader 8.



I will be using it primarily for stocks and need features that I am not sure if NT8 has;


Watchlists - every week and every evening I need to run scans on stocks that meet certain criteria, for example, stocks that have made a 5% move that day, stocks that have gapped open, things like that.


1. Can NT8 run scans like that?


2. If it cannot, can it at least have multiple different watchlists? So I can scan stocks using other software, then add the ticker symbols to NT watchlists. I will need more than one list though. I will need "main list", "new stocks" "stocks in play" "stocks to keep an eye on" etc etc.


I think the market analyzer can only have one simple list?

Thanks for writing in.

NinjaTrader has a Hot List Analyzer which will retrieve hot lists provided by your data provider. The hot lists that are available will depend on your data provider.

You can create separator rows in the Market Analyzer by creating a Label row and creating a specific list in the same market analyzer window. To do this, right click in the Market analyzer window and select Add Label Row. Double click on the title to edit it.
