dialog boxes incorrectly handling multiple monitors.

Sometimes NT8 puts dialogue boxes half off a 2nd monitor screen, and it cannot be grabbed or dragged.

Thanks for posting to the forums.

Please use the following steps to move the window.

* Hold SHIFT + Right Click on the window item in the Windows Taskbar
* Select 'Move'
* Press the left arrow key on your keyboard
* Without pressing any other button, move your mouse.
* Your window should be anchored to the cursor.
* Left click to 'plant' the window.


Let me know if this works for you or if you are having troubles performing the above steps.

Note this is a general Windows feature and will work with any application.

It is not the CHART WINDOW that is the problem. The chart window is completely within the monitor and ok.
When clicking the Indicator icon on the toolbar, the Indicator dialogue window opens half off the screen.

Hello saltminer,

Thanks for that clarification.

If you shut down NinjaTrader and then go to Documents> NinjaTrader 8> workspaces and delete the _Workspaces.xml file and restart, this should force the items to appear on screen as desired.
