4-hour chart - time line issue

Hi

When zoomed in on my 4 hour chart (240 minutes) I noticed the cursor time does not match the timeline time.

In fact, when I roll over 14:00, the cursor time changes to 16:00 (see image)

As we've discussed in another thread and via email, the cross hair time stamp is locked to the data series. The cross hair will only show times for the data series you have applied to your chart. In this scenario, you're hovering in the gap between two bars, but slightly closer to the bar on the right than on the left. Your cross hair is showing you the closing time of the bar to the right. This is expected.

Ah, I see what you mean.

Wouldn't it make more sense for the crosshair to reference a constant timeline rather than the data series?

That way, it would always show the exact minute correctly, on all time frames.

It does not currently work the way you describe due to performance concerns. The feature requests submitted after our prior conversation on this matter are intended to change the expected (performance-friendly) behavior.
