Ninjatrader Lost Account Data On Power Loss??

So my data feed (Ninjatrader Continuum) and license number were somehow magically reset to null when my PC lost power while NT8 was open doing some backtests. It even cleared out the whole strategy I was testing and had open in the Strategy Editor.

The UI also changed from my preferred color to something else.

What the heck happened? How can I fix this?

I'm glad this didn't happen on my actual trading server. I would be extremely irritated.

Sounds like two separate issues. I can pull the cord out of my computer all day long and it won't do what you said - so got a feeling something else happened but the power loss wouldn't have caused that. Might make more sense to send your logs to their tech support than to ask it here as anyone would just be guessing.

Thank you for posting on the forums.

Pleas write in to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with your log and trace files so we may investigate this further. Please also include a link to this forum with your email and ATTN: Marco.

1. Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
2. Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to the email.
4. Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
