Chart Trader greyed out in NT8, but works NT7 w/ same Direct Edition license key

Curious as to why my Direct Edition license that I got from Mirus doesn't allow Chart Trader to work in NT8, but works fine for Chart Trader in NT7? I remember reading somewhere that there was some sort of grandfathering of licenses. Am I mistaken?

The behavior that you described is expected: your Direct Edition license key is grandfathered to include Chart Trader for NinjaTrader 7 but this feature will not be available for NinjaTrader 8. If you would like to utilize Chart Trader for NinjaTrader 8, you will need to purchase or lease a Standard Edition license key:

Thank you for clarifying. As soon as I make the migration to NT8 full time I'll be sure to get the appropriate license.
