    CL tick data is not downloading from Kinetick

    Historical tick data from Kinetick is not downloading. I'm trying to download CL 03-18 data for 2/5/18. I've tried using 'Reload All Historical Data" from the chart, and tried using Historical Data Manager.

    1) How do I get tick data to download?
    2) How far back is historical tick data available?

    Thanks for your post.
    How do I get tick data to download?
    Historical data can be downloaded from the data provider via the Download tab inside the Historical Data Window. To download historical data first make sure NinjaTrader is connected and historical data is available from your data provider.
    1. From your Control Center navigate to Tools>Historical Data
    2. Select an instrument for data to be downloaded. (Tip: You may also select an instrument list)
    3. Select the desired Start and End date range
    4. Select the desired Intervals and Data Types
    5. Press the "Download" button to begin the download

    How far back is historical tick data available?
    The historical data availability for Kinetick is as follows:
    • Up to 180 days of Tick data
    • Up to 2 years worth of Minute data
    • 10+ years for Daily data

    When requesting Kinetick tick data between the hours of 9:30am ET to 4:30pm ET you will have access to 8 days of historical tick data. If you request the data outside those hours the full 180 days is available. After you request the data, it will be downloaded to your historical database and cache, and you will be able to access this data at any time.

      As my text stated and my screenshot showed, I was doing as you listed above. Thus the question was really about getting the issue fixed.

      This was all I needed to know. Thanks.

      FYI, It would be really good to print some sort of feedback to the Log tab/file telling the user that historical data past a certain date is not available until the RTH have ended. I did check the log and trace files for errors, but of course didn't find anything.
      I image that data limitation confuses a lot of users.
