Will this graphics card work for my setup?

My PC specs:

• 500 GB SSD
• 12GB RAM
• Intel i7 4 core
• Nvidia GeForce 8400GS 256mb <======= Replacing this
• Two 24 in monitors
• NT8
• 2 charts on each monitor,
• Internet Xfinity Blast Pro.150mbps (Using ethernet cable cat6)

I'm looking to buy the MSI Gaming GeForce GT 710 2GB GDRR3 64-bit HDCP Support DirectX 12 OpenGL 4.5

I'm wanting a new card because I believe the lag or choppiness during live trading is due to my old Nvidia GeForce 8400GS

My main question is, will this new card improve my charting experience on NT8?

I don't know much about graphics cards. I would like to know the difference between the 2 cards.

Improving your graphics card will improve NinjaTrader 8's charting performance. We do not have recommendations for specific cards, however, your new card has 4x the internal memory of your old card which indicates it is likely a much newer generation card.
