Predefined stop limit offset doesn't seem to work

Hello Forum,

I'm trying to wrap my head around the Predefined stop limit offset. I'm under the impression from the manual (https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...us/?editor.htm) that setting this to + 10 should mean that the order I submitted at 60.34 should have been on the chart at 60.44.

I've also confirmed the behavior is the same if in Simulated Order mode.

Am I misunderstanding something or is this not working the way it is supposed to?

Thank you for posting in our forum.

The purpose of the predefined stop limit offset is to reduce the number of clicks to place a stop limit order.

In your particular case, since you placed a sell stop limit order at 60.34 and your predefined stop limit offset is 10 ticks, your order will fill somewhere between 60.34 (best possible fill) and 60.24 (worst possible fill).

Since the order was placed at the 60.34 price level, your order is working as expected, and appears at the appropriate price level.

Thanks for the clarification Micha,

I can see what's going on now in the order tab of the Control Center. The Limit is where I placed the order and the stop is at 10 ticks away from the limit.
