Z Order Issue

The Developing VA and POC of the Order Flow Volume Profile indicator is always on top of the price bars despite using the Shift + Mouse wheel method. Please see attached image.

Does this happen with any other native indicators with the platform?

Also, does this occur when using the native built-in Renko Bars?

Lastly, what version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)

I'm using NT8 version 8.0.17.2 64-bit

I just tried the native built-in Renko bars, the dev va/poc are still on top of the candles. The native Bollinger Bands were plotted under the price bars after using the Shift-mouse wheel.

Thank you for your post.

As a test, I would like to test by creating a new chart to see if we see the same behavior.

If we still see the same behavior then I would like to test further by starting the platform in Safe Mode and recreating the chart.


Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:

• Loading workspaces.
• Connecting on start-up.
• Loading custom assemblies.
• Getting instrument updates from the server.

To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:

• Exit NinjaTrader.
• Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
• Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
• You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.

Once you have start NinjaTrader 8 in Safe Mode please connect and recreate the chart and test to see if the Z-Order is still not changing.

Please let me know the results of these tests.

The z-order has now changed after recreating all my charts from scratch.
