Request for Export to CSV function

Export function for the grids writes an excel file that have currency symbols for each cell.

Can you please change this so that the currency symbol is omitted? Excel does not play nice with them and it creates extra work that has to be done on the file before it can be correctly plotted in Excel.

It would be more useful to write a CSV text file instead and not an Excel file. That way it can be easily viewed and manipulated outside of the Excel technology stack. All cells should be output without quotes (use under scores if there are spaces in title strings) and without currency symbols or thousand separator commas.

Anybody who deals with data on a daily basis will know what I am saying.

The ID for this request is SFT-1477. You may reference this ID in the future regarding this matter. If implemented, this would also list in the NinjaTrader Help Guide release notes (Help> Help > Release Notes).

Let us know if we may assist further.
