Whats the difference between net liquidation and cash value on the platform?
Whats the difference between net liquidation and cash value on the platform? cash value says more than net liquidation shouldnt it be the other way around?Tags: None

Thanks for posting.
Net liquidation would be the total worth of the account's assets, and that would include margin. Based on this description, I would also expect it to typically be higher than Cash Value. However, since the data provided on the Accounts tab of the Control Center is provided from the data provider in use, with the exception of simulation accounts, NinjaTrader would not be calculating this value.
Am I correct in assuming you are connecting to Interactive Brokers? They would be the only account connection/data provider in either version of the software that supports this data. I would recommend contacting your broker there if you'd like to confirm the values seen in the Accounts tab of the Control Center.
