Manually entered executions

This is probably a setting I'm missing somewhere or lack of understanding on my part. In a simulation account, I manually entered an execution for a stock purchase. It shows on the chart just fine but in the control panel, it doesn't show in the list of orders or calculate the current position. What am I missing?

Thank you for using NinjaTrader.

Please ensure that your simulated account is not being excluded from the Orders tab and the Positions tab by opening the tab, right clicking the empty space in the middle of the Control Center, selecting Filter by Account, and then clicking either All or your simulated account.

Hey Tyler,

Here's what I'm seeing

I manually created an execution
Checked that it was in control panel under executions
Nothing shows up in positions and the filter is set to all

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

Ensure to check 'Database file' and ' Log and trace files'.

Thank you for your note.

Adding an Execution to your Trade Performance does not actually execute the trade. The add execution function is for performance reporting only.
