order quantity doubling up

I have mad a strategy in the strategy builder and set the Default quantity 40,000 and sometimes every time the trade goes long or short the order quantity doubles up.

is the something else I should be setting?

entries per direction = 1
entry handling = all entries

You are saying that every time your strategy trades it does so for double the default quantity(80,000)?

What instrument are you trading?

What do the entries look like in the Strategy Builder? Can you post the script here?

That is correct, it happens on forex GBPUSD and the major currencies, can I email you the script from the strategy builder in text ?

I would prefer to see the actual file so I can open it in the Strategy Builder.

Please write in to PlatformSupport(AT)NinjaTrader(DOT)com and reference ticket ID# 2114108 with RE:JOSH in the subject line. Please attach your Log and Trace files to your email so that I may investigate this matter further. You may follow the steps below to attach those files.

• Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
• Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

You can export your Strategy by going to Tools > Export > NinjaScript Add On > Add > select your Strategy > OK > Export > name the file 'NTsupport' > Save. The file will be located under Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\ExportNinjaScript. Please attach the file to your email.

ON investigation I found a hidden chart and I think it was active and doubling the orders by repetition. I deleted the chart and have not had any further trouble so far in testing.
