    Issue with renaming indicator

Renaming an indicator appears to work fine. The script compiles ok. The problem is that modules such as Market Analyzer or chart cannot see the indicator. I traced the problem to "Name" in "if (State == State.SetDefaults" not being changed to the new name. Once I changed that "Name", the indicator could be discovered by charts, etc. I suspect the same issue exits with strategies, but I have not tested it.

    Hello stevenev1,

    Thank you for the post.

What version of the platform is currently being used, can you check in the Help -> About menu, please?

Also what steps did you use to rename the indicator, was this from the NinjaScript editor's Right click menu? There is a current issue for 8.0.17.2 that has been reported for the right click menu specifically and the outcome is what you had described (ID 13549).

I look forward to being of further assistance.

Hi Jesse, thanks for your reply. Yes, I am running the version you indicated and the right mouse button is the one you used. Glad that is already reported.
