NT8 connection to Interactive Brokers within EU

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if it's possible to connect NT8 to a real-money Interactive Brokers account and execute trades inside the NT8 platform (provided you own the NT8 license) while based in the EU. I ask this because I know this is not possible with Oanda, even though it was not really specified anywhere. This is very important information to have before I open and fund an IB account and purchase the NT8 software.
If it makes a difference, the countries in questiona re Germany and Slovenia.

You will want to check with the brokerage if they are able to open an account in your area.

Thanks for the reply. I do find it a bit strange though, because when I asked about a connection between NT8 and Oanda on this forum, this is the answer I got:

These limitations are the brokerage, not NinjaTrader.

You will want to contact the brokerage for information on their services.
