Import Playback Data

Is there any way to import playback data into NT8?
I have some historical crypto orderbook data, which I'd like to display on NT8 market replay.
Is there any way I can import this into the NT8 system?

You may import historical data into NinjaTrader for use with the Playback Connection, yes. Here's a link to our help guide that goes over importing:

The important part here is the format your data is in. It must be in the proper format, or it will not be able to be imported.

I'm aware of how to import OHLCV data.

What I'm interested in is importing PlayBack (Market Replay) data from external source.
Is there any way to do this?

Thank you for your reply.

Are you speaking of importing data already formatted for market replay, or are you talking about creating the data yourself from scratch? Market replay data is a very specific type of data and cannot be created from say, a one tick data series.

Market reply data is stored in the following directory in Windows
Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\replay
The Market Replay data is organized in folders based on the instrument.
For example data for the CL for the current front month would be CL 04-19.

If you were to manually transfer Market Replay data into NinjaTrader you would need to place it into the replay folder.
