Handling Drawings

Hello,

I want to ask if it would be possible in future releases to handle templates of drawing tools with shortkeys.
I mean for example ALT+R for red rectangle and STR+R for green rectangle.

Thanks for your post.

Currently, you can use the hotkeys of Ctrl + F12 to create a rectangle which would use the default template. If you make your default template 1 of those two colors then you would only need to change 50% of the rectangles you draw.

I will create a feature request to add the ability to tie drawing tool template selection to hot keys.

I would not be able to say if this can or would be implemented but having the feature request will allow us to track future interest in this particular feature.

I will update this thread when I have further information.

Just to update, the feature request has been added to SFT-2386, "Add additional hotkeys" and this contains many suggestions one of which is yours.
