How can I see when short sale restriction is on while trading through the chart trader in ninjatrader 8? I am using IB and TD Ameritrade as quote sources and IB for trading.

Glad to assist. To confirm, is an IB or TD side alert shown when this occurs?
NinjaTrader is able to show some of the connected account's data, though not all broker metrics are supported to be seen in NinjaTrader. Most items sent via the account can be seen from the Accounts tab of the Control Center. Please see the following link for more information regarding what account data is available for each technology.
