How do I get my workspace back after a NT8 crash ?

Thanks for your post.

If there is an issue with your workspace that is preventing you from starting the platform, you may temporarily move them out of your Documents/NinjaTrader 8/workspaces folder and to a safe place on your desktop. Please then start NinjaTrader and save the blank Untitled1 workspace when you start the platform. This will ensure the blank workspace gets opened when you start NinjaTrader again.

After the workspace is saved, close NinjaTrader and then bring your workspaces back in. Do NOT overwrite _Workspaces.xml or Untitled1.xml. (We need these files to start NinjaTrader with a blank workspace.)

After starting the platform, you may then test your original workspaces. If these have issues, you may try using an older version that can be retrieved from the Database Management window of the Control Center. (Control Center > Tools > Database Management > Workspace recovery)

We also recommend making regular backups so you have a restore point if issues return.
