Does NinjaTrader installs Environment Variables for locations?

It would be good, that ninjatrader installer also created Environment Variables (like there is %windir% or etc), so, we could find out what is NinjaTrader installation and custom folder directories, like:

%NinjaTraderInstallDir%

Aren't they standard enough? It doesn't install randomly?

Try:
NinjaTrader.Core.Globals.UserDataDir - for the Documents\NinjaTrader 8 folder.
NinjaTrader.Core.Globals.InstallDir - for the C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 8 folder.

However, I don't recommend storing or opening files from the program files directory.
If you want to supply resources save these in the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates folder.

NinjaTrader_ChelseaB No, my goal it in VIsual Studio, to have a reference to NT DLL (which is located in ProgramFiles dir), I am building a custom solution. However, I wanted to get that path using Windows Registrry values or any stored variable in Windows, but I couldnt find any of them. Is there any way, without need to find out that without the help of `NT.COre.Globals.UserDataDir..` ?

Chelsea, probably i;ve explained it hardly. To ask you simple, if i install NT in `D:/myFolder` instead of `c:/program files`, then how to find out where is NinjaTrader installed? How your installer detects if there is already installed a NT on PC (if it is not installed in 'C:/program files' ) ?
