can chart alerts save to template for use by other charts with different instruments?

I created a bunch of chart alerts that I'd love to use throughout my trading. I saved the chart template, which had the functioning alerts as 'alerts-template'.

I went into an existing chart and loaded the template 'alerts-template'.

When I right clicked in the 2nd chart, and selected 'Alerts', there were none.

is this because they were created on a specific instrument/data series?

Do I need to recreate all the alerts on each different instrument's chart? or is there an easier way?

Alerts are not saved with Chart Templates and must be setup individually on each chart.
