    Strategies removed AGAIN after upgrade

    NinjaTrader, you all really should be ashamed of yourselves.

    Now in this most recent upgrade, ALL of my strategies were removed from charts--we are talking 10+ strategies

    What's your solution to get my strategies reloaded to the correct charts?

    Thanks for your post.

    In both of these tickets you are referencing we tried to get you to reach out to Platform Support so we could assist. In both instances you failed to reach out to us.

    Please write in to PlatformSupport(AT)NinjaTrader(DOT)com

    Reference this forum post with RE:JOSH in the subject line. Please attach your Log and Trace files to your email so that I may investigate this matter further. You may follow the steps below to attach those files.
    • Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

      That is factually inaccurate. The first one I did and the second there was no need to.

        I have the same problem. All my custom ninjascript is gone which used to work fine on the previous version. any help?

          I suggest writing in to PlatformSupport(AT)NinjaTrader(DOT)com with your log and trace files.

            A constructive suggestion to Users and Ninja - Users, always run a Backup immediately prior to upgrading - you might find importing the backup restores correctly after upgrading; Ninja - put a message on the download page strongly recommending Users to do so. This Forum has been littered with similar issues, new versions released riddled with bugs etc. Until 8 is properly out of Beta at least Users would always have a very simple and relatively pain free way back.
