Volumetric updowntick forex instruments

Hello,

when I try to bring up a chart with dataseries volumetric with updowntick for GER30 (FXCM datafeed) it looks strange. EURJPY (FXCM datafeed) is plotting as expected.

Glad to assist. Testing on my end, I can confirm I am seeing regarding the CFD data. This is due to the spot data itself, while not a Forex instrument exactly the same applies for the CFD data =- From our help guide, "Forex spot data charting is traditionally driven from the bid side only, since no 'true' last exists. Provided values would not represent a centralized auction based market as with stocks or futures - as such Order Flow Volumetric Bars would not be supported on Forex spot data."

thank you for your reply. Testing the data I can inform you that in NinjaTrader7 with GomVolumeLadder there is updowntick on both sides.

How can it work with a 3rd party indicator but not with NinjaTrader volumetric updowntick?

We do not have information or access to third-party addon details of this nature. I suggest reaching out to the vendor to see if they have an addition for use with NinjaTrader 8.
