Chart Trader Quantity Size Per Instrument

When moving between instruments the chart trader changes the order quantity for submission to the last set quantity. For example if I'm on instrument A and set order qty to 10 contracts and go to instrument B and set the order qty to 1 contract then go back to A the order qty is now set to 1 on the chart trader. This gets quite annoying when dealing with stocks and different share sizing. Is there any way to not change the order qty on a different chart when I change it on another instrument?

Unfortunately it is not possible to set a designated quantity per instrument. I have submitted this as a feature request to the Development Team. The internal tracking number for these feature requests are:
    • By instrument — SFT-746
    • By tab — SFT-2060
Please reference this internal tracking number if you ever have questions regarding this feature request.

When a feature request is implemented, you'll find it in the release notes:

Thanks Patrick, this would save many headaches. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would appreciate this small change. It's more about the chart trader saving your quantity for the chart you are on.
