After having played with Playback quite a bit since the release, I'd have to say that the way it works is very clunky and non intuitive. Perhaps I'm missing something but I think it's the addition of the Start and End Dates that make it so clunky.
For example, if I see something in the Historical charts that I want to simulate, I'd have to first change the Start Date to the day before and then the End Date to the actual day I want to simulate. Then for NJT to grey out and then come back to confirm that I didn't screw up the Start and End Dates. And then I can right click and Go To that specific date/time and wait for it to fast forward to the correct time.
IMO, this is just adding unnecessary steps.
The way I think it should work is to do away with the Start and End date and the slider completely. Just Go To that specific date/time and NJT will tell me if it has that Market Replay data or not and whether I want to download it. That seems much easier to me.
