Point and Figure Weirdness

I am attempting to add a Point and Figure chart am getting weird behavior. Primarily it is not displaying as Xs and Os, but at as bars instead. Seems to me that I have it configured properly.

Also, are the units for box size and reversal ticks?

The Point and Figure chart appears this way because the Xs and Os are so compressed due to the box size of 1 and the large distance the market has moved in price recently that they are basically merged together. If you expand the chart vertically, you'll see that it will eventually turn into Xs and Os:

Due to the very high volatility the last few days, these charts look quite strange, but everything appears to be plotting as I would expect it to.

The box size and reversal properties are ticks. Increasing the 'box size' should mitigate this visually. You can learn more about NinjaTrader Point and Figure bars here:
