Order attach to Indicator

Hi,

As the screen shots show I have 2 issues.

I. I have 2 indicators in the chart and when I click on the properties to choose an indicator the drop-down menus shows only one indicator as a choice. I did this with another chart with 4 indicators and still the same. Only one indicator as an option.

2. Once I attache an indicator to an order I can't go to the properties as it shows in the 2nd screen shot,,,,,it's greyed out,,not clickable.

What am I doing wrong? I followed the Youtube instruction by Ninjatrader (youtu.be/KDErM1cWjtA) ....

Hello kalalex,

With the first screenshot, this is only showing the properties window and is not showing what is showing in the Indicator drop-down or the indicators added to the chart.

Is the indicator that will not appear in the drop-down an indicator distributed with NinjaTrader or one that you have imported?

Can you reproduce using all system indicators that are distributed with NinjaTrader? (Such as adding both the EMA and the SMA (and VWMA if you wanted))


The second screenshot is not showing any order on the chart at all. Instead this is showing the avg entry price marker at the price where the position was entered. This cannot be attached to an indicator.
