Tick Chart Display Setting
Hello, I´m new here. Hope this is the right place for my question. I use IB as a data source. So here is my Q. there is 2 way to plot a tick chart by order or single contract. Example 5 orders each with 3 lots. In the first setting, you have 5 ticks in the second you have 15 ticks displayed. Where can I find that setting in NT8. Because right now I only see the first one. Meaning number of orders. I hope its clear what I mean. English is not my first language but I try my best. Thank youTags: None

Hello,
Thank you for your post.
Glad to assist. The ATM Strategy order entry feature is able to submit a quantity of orders a separate price levels. An ATM submits profit targets and stop loss along with the entry. To begin, use the ATM Strategy drop on the chart trader toolbar to select Custom, which will open the ATM - Advanced Trade Management - window. Press the lower Add button to add additional order levels.
See below for more on ATM Stratigeis if needed.
Outside of the ATM strategy feature, manual orders or automated strategies would be the only additional method of custom order entry. I suggest reviewing the below short video from our help guide that covers the basics of order entry in NinjaTrader 8.

Thank you for your answer but it has nothing to do with a Strategy. It's only a display mode. If you open a new chart let say for FDAX and select Tick 300. Then the chart displays ticks. It's not a Strategy or a Backtest. So where can I change that the tick shows every single lot and not the orders? RIght now its set to orders shown.

Thank you for your reply.
I understand, I initially misunderstood your first post. This is because Tick chart bars are built using Historical Tick data, and the Interactive Brokers connection in NinjaTrader does not support historical tick data. See the below section of our help guide for more on the data types needed to build various chart bars.

The below link will show all the NinjaTrader-supported data feeds and the market they support.
