    Bollinger bands > standard deviations

    Hi,

As we know, Bollinger bands are measures of standard deviations away from a moving average.
Does anyone know if we have an indicator which outputs a single number which is the actual standard deviation number away from a moving average ?

For example, it may output +2 is the price is at the upper band... or -2 if the price is at the lower band
Hoping for something ready made (if is exists) without the need for Ninja Script

    Hello akvevo,

    Thanks for your post.

I'm not aware of an existing indicator that would provide a standard deviation value of price to a moving average or would provide a set value when a price is at some level.

Perhaps others in the community may know and can advise.
