    Shadow Strategy - Change Default Sim Account

    When I enable shadow strategies, is their a way to enable the shadow strategy to a particular sim account instead of the default sim101 account?

    Are you referring to a fully automated custom programmed NInjaScript Strategy?

    Or are you referring to an Atm Strategy for manually placed entry orders.

        Unfortunately, there is not a selector to change the sim account for an Atm Shadow Strategy in trade windows.


        I will submit a feature request on your behalf for the NinjaTrader Development to consider this for a future version of NinjaTrader.
        Once I have a tracking ID for this request I will post in this thread for future reference.

          I've received tracking ID #SFT-3287 for this request to change the sim account for Atm Shadow Strategies.

          Please note it is up to the NinjaTrader Development to decide if or when any request will be implemented.

            Be good to have the shadow account feature in Playback mode. Looks like this currently is not possible as only Playback account shows up in Account when on a Playback connection.

                    We receive many requests and can't reasonably implement all requested features. Interest is tracked internally and if enough interest is tracked, it would be weighed against how feasible it would be to implement it, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment.

                    When new features are implemented, they will be listed in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide. The ID number may be different than the internal feature request tracking ID, but the description of the feature will let you know if that feature has been implemented.
