Heikin-Ashi?

Is it really true that NT (either 8 or 7) doesn't support Heikin-Ashi candlestick charts? If not, can you please add it in a future release?

Thanks for your post.

In NinjaTrader7 we provide Heiken-Ashi as an indicator that can be applied to any chart.

In NinjaTrader8 we provide Heiken-Ashi as a bar type. Heiken-Ashi is also available to added to the platform as an indicator for bar types that are not provided natively as Heiken-Ashi (Range and Renko type). You can find the NT8 Heiken-Ashi indicator in the Ninjatrader8 downloads section of the forum.

If building a strategy, I had to code in a Heiken Ashi indicator I found online into my strategy as an added data series. If you need help with it, lemme know.
