Have to reload historical data manually

Hello,

When first starting NT8, and charts have loaded, I have to go in and manually upload historical data to fill in gaps on the charts.
I've just updated to the latest version, 8.0.11.1 but this has been happening over the last few weeks really.
Please advise, is this something on my side?

Thank you for your post.

Glad to assist, this may indicate a connection issue to the historical data server.
The first thing I would recommend doing is shutting down NinjaTrader and restarting your modem/router.

If you have an antivirus/firewall installed you will want to add NinjaTrader to its exceptions list.

Let me know if you see the same after taking these steps.

Thanks, I added NT to the exceptions list, I use Kaspersky and it was classifying NT as low restricted rather than trusted. Also restarted the router.
But I am still seeing gaps in charts on startup or when changing instruments, that I can fill by reloading all historical data.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.

* Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
* Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
* Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
* Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
