Question about data feeds please?

I have IQFeed and continuum. Are both necessary. I trade live on continuum and use IQ for historical data for everything else. Would simply using continuum suffice?

This depends on what data you need and for what purpose.

CQG/Continuum supports Futures and generally will have the historical tick, minute, and daily data needed.

IQFeed supports Futures, Equities, Forex, and Indexes and has limited tick data, but unlimited minute and day data.

Is there a link describing how far back historical minute/tick data go for futures? Iqfeed has 10 yrs for minute and 6 months for tick.

From my understanding IQFeed has 180 days of historical tick data available.
