In order to adequately backtest a strategy I'm sure you know plenty of historical data is needed. Im finding that only a couple of years is available on my charts. Is there a solution to this problem?

Each supported data feed or brokerage connection will have different historical data servers that provide different amounts of data.
If the data is not adequate you can check with a 3rd party historical data supplier to see if they have the data you need.
Below are public links to a couple 3rd party historical data providers I am aware of. There may be others.
