Signals and Conditions on different Time Frame

    Hi

    In Strategy builder
I'm not sure how to add a Condition that will be based on a different Time Frame vs the one that the strategy will be running. ie: strategy trading on 30' bar charts but one of the conditions needs to follow the Daily bars.
When I select for example EMA, I can select the parameters/period but not the reference series.

    Many thanks as usual.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the post.

First, you will add any additional series in the Additional Data tab. See image SS1. Here I have a 1 tick series added.

Then in the conditions and actions tab, you have the option to select the series you would like the function to act upon. See SS2.

In image SS3, I am comparing the EMA of the 1 tick series to the low price of the primary series.

Here is a help guide page on working with multi-time frames and multi-instrument scripts:

Please let us know if we may be of any further assistance.
